Reading Churches Career Support:

Reading Churches Career Support has been set up as Group on LinkedIn, the business media site (like the social media site, Facebook, but designed for work),

This group is designed with three purposes:

(1) to provide a comprehensive suite of resources, currently to be found in Promotions, to enable those in and out of work to develop an action plan to address the challenges they face;

(2) to act as a forum for communication of needs e.g. "I'm looking for a job as a chemical engineer/special needs teacher/mechanic" - "I'm an undergraduate needing careers advice in law" - "I'm being bullied at work" and for those who can help to respond e.g. "I know an employer/ employment agency that's recruiting" etc.; and

(3) to allow different support groups the opportunity to share ideas. If you see value in this service please register free of charge on LinkedIn and ask to join the group.

The group can be found at http://www.linkedin.com/groups?mostpopular=&gid=3781925
